What happens if I get approval cancellation by Host Entity/Opportunity Provider?
Host Entity finds a replacement Opportunity Provider with the same job description within two (2) weeks from Exchange Participant notification date, in suitable time for the same RE (Realization) date or pays all Exchange Participant expenses he/she had so far (Exchange Participant Fee, Visa, Travel expenses etc.)
What happens if I don't receive the documents needed for a visa from the Host Entity/ opportunity provider?
Reimburses any EP expenses he/she had so far (EP Fee, Travel expenses if allowed by HE to purchase before visa etc.)
What happens if the Exchange Participant applied for a visa against the country laws?
If it’s the Exchange Participant’s mistake AIESEC is not Liable, if Exchange Participant received written formal instructions.
If it’s because of Host Entity error or negligence Exchange Participant can request full reimbursement of expenses.
From RE to CO:
Exchange Participant is not getting the Salary From seven to thirty (7 to 30) days late?
Payment of the salary immediately, the Opportunity Provider is the responsible for providing the salary if not the main responsible is Host Entity
Exchange Participant is not getting the Salary Over thirty (30) days late?
Payment of the salary + 2% (two) of its amount as fine per delayed day.
What if there is a change in the Exchange Participant's Job Description for more than 50% from the original Job Description written in the Acceptance Note?
The host entity is liable to reimburse the Exchange Participant's full expenses with providing receipts of the expenses.
If Host Entity is communicated after the Realization break, Host Entity is not liable.
What if a GV/GTa/GTe Exchange Participant duration is shorter than agreed?
If it's due to factors AIESEC has no control of it, AIESEC is not liable
If it is problems regarding Host Entity, full reimbursements for Opportunity Provider and Exchange Participant with providing receipts for Exchange Participant's expenses
If there are problems regarding Opoortunity Provider, full reimbursements Exchange Participant with providing receipts for Exchange Participant's expenses.
What if a GTa/GTe EP was dismissed before completing 70% of the agreed internship duration without a valid and provable reason?
Full reimbursement of flight tickets, visa fees, and any expenses paid by the Exchange Participant to be paid to the Exchange Participant by providing receipts.
What if there is an issue or problem regarding Exchange Participant's opportunity benefits? ( Accommodation, transportation, food)
The Exchange Participant must provide invoices of expenses incurred up to that date and Host Entity is liable to reimburse the Exchange Participant's full expenses ( with providing receipts ) and fixes the issue for the remaining period of the Realization.
What if an Exchange Participant was dismissed with a valid and provable reason?
Proportional salary/stipend of the days they worked that are missing, before dismissal.
Exchange Participant salary is different from the agreed on?
In case of Exchange Participant receiving more by Opportunity Provider error or negligence: Exchange Participant pays back Host Entity , that shall reimburse Opportunity Provider.
In case Exchange Participant is receiving less: 1st & 2nd salary: Host Entity pays immediately,- 3rd salary - last: Payment of the salary + 2% (two) of its amount as fine per delayed day.

What happens if the approval is canceled by Sending Entity/Exchange Participant?
Family emergency, Health issues, Legal Issues: No liability if proof provided.
Sending Entity should find a replacement Exchange Participant within 2 weeks of approval cancellation date and should be ready to be realized within 1 month maximum after the original realization date, or pays Opportunity Provider expenses expressed in the contract.
What happens If the approval is canceled by Host Entity?
Host Entity is liable to reimburse Opportunity Provider with the expenses expressed in the contract.
What happens if Exchange Participant applies for a different visa?
Depending on the case, and can be done through a negotiation between Sending Entity, Exchange Participant & Host Entity if the realization has to be canceled or the issue can be fixed nevertheless the Host Entity should cover all the correction cost in case the above parties decide to fix the issue.
From RE to CO:
What if the Exchange Participant ended Realization earlier?
If it is a family emergency, health issues, legal Issues: No liability or responsibility if proof provided.
If there are other issues: It is suggested that Sending Entity finds a replacement Exchange Participant. If not possible, Sending Entity shall cover Opportunity Provider costs covered by Opportunity Provider contract with Host Entity.
What happens when an Exchange Participant gets Deported?
Depending on the case
Exchange Participant error or negligence, Government issues AIESEC not Liable or responsible.
Host Entity error or negligence in documents: Full reimbursement of expenses.
What if there is a change in the Exchange Participant's Job Description for more than 50% from the original Job Description written in the Acceptance Note?
The host entity is liable to reimburse the Exchange Participant's full expenses with providing receipts of the expenses.
If Host Entity is communicated after the Realization break, Host Enity is not liable.
What if an Exchange Participant was dismissed after completing 70% of the internship duration agreed?
Exchange Participant should be compensated with the remaining salary of the internship (the remaining 30% of the internship duration.) and return tickets.
